We were so excited to finally bring Ridge home! It seemed like we had to wait forever! I was discharged on Friday morning at 7:15... Ridge did not get discharged until around 3:00 pm on Saturday. The pediatrician wanted to continue to monitor the abrasion on his head from the vacuum that was used during delivery. Most of you already know - Ridge did not want to come out!! He was two weeks late & still had to be forced out of Hotel Uterus! He also was face up during the delivery (as opposed to face down, which I hear is a much easier way to deliver), so this further complicated things. And to make matters worse, he weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 22 inches long. But oh well, we all have our 'War Stories' and that's mine and Ridge's.
